Blogging and Mistakes

I love immediate gratification.

I added Thoughts on Teaching to my RSS feeder (thanks to this post) no more than two days ago and already I’ve been served up a warm plate of good writing. Todd’s post, Is Gaiman A Teacher? elucidates exactly what I’m trying to do with this blog. “Didn’t I write about how that sucked and what I might do to improve it?” is going to be the go-to question for myself in the next few years and hopefully this blog will be the resource I turn to when the question strikes. It’s blogs like Todd’s (and Dan’s) that are going to be so valuable to me because they are the ones who have already made the mistakes and have started to figure things out. I’m looking forward to figuring some things out myself, but until then I’ll keep making my mistakes and recording them here.
